ISC Builds Traveling Platforms

//ISC Builds Traveling Platforms

The Saint Louis Art Museum’s “Sunken Cities, Egypt’s Lost Worlds”, recently closed on September 9th. The wooden platforms which the artifacts were displayed upon throughout the exhibit, were built by a select group of ISC carpenters in early March.

On the morning of September 10th, ISC had a four-man crew on site once again, this time to assist with the dismantling of art work and numerous wooden platforms, which they had built just a few months prior.

The exceptionally hand-crafted wooden platforms have been carefully wrapped, and are being shipped to the Minneapolis Institute of Art where they will be re-assembled for the exhibit’s next stop, which opens on November 4th. The wooden platforms will continue to travel with the exhibit on its upcoming stops.
